NBG develops nutritional solutions and ingredients to improve animal feed, based on a harmonious balance of additives and functional ingredients of natural origin that combined precisely can help animals face various pathological, environmental and nutritional challenges.

The production of free radicals in organisms is inherent to our evolutionary origin, most living beings are aerobic beings that breathe oxygen from the air or water. This makes us very energy efficient but also produces free radicals that affect health. To reduce the problem, nature has developed several antioxidant systems, from the first line of antioxidant enzymes, the real heroes of the fight, to vitamin E and its recovery system primed to trap the ‘wandering’ electrons. Having good antioxidant ingredients helps the body’s antioxidant systems recover in their ongoing fight against oxidative stress.
In order to help the body fight against oxidative stress, we have prepared a series of solutions inspired by nature, from extracts of triterpenes and polyphenols specific to Mediterranean plants, which regularly fight against water and heat stress, to plant extracts from sub-arctic climates rich in stilbenes and flavonoids, which protect plants from harsh climatic conditions and especially from summers with almost 24 hours of solar radiation.
We have also chosen ingredients that can help in the regeneration of vitamin E and the maintenance of the cell’s antioxidant enzyme system.
