The “magical” abilities of camels

Dear colleagues,
Taking advantage of Epiphany, this week we want to dedicate the article to the animals that transported the three wise men to Bethlehem… the camels.
Specifically, we will review the almost magical properties of camel milk, which, from our scientific point of view, is as valuable as the gold, frankincense, or myrrh carried by camel passengers.
Camel milk has been found to have a number of health benefits, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory effects. These effects are largely due to bioactive peptides, such as those also contained in our NBG DigestaPro hydrolyzed protein:
These peptides appear to act by reducing the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS), hydroxyl radicals, nitric oxide (NO), and other pro-oxidant molecules.
Evidence indicates that camel milk and its bioactive components have great therapeutic potential for treating diseases caused by inflammation, oxidative stress, and immunosuppression.
