Maslinic acid as a feed additive to stimulate growth and hepatic protein-turnover rates in rainbow trout (Onchorhynchus mykiss

Dear colleagues,

Some of you have asked examples of Phytogenics in Aqua Nutrition, so I have chosen an example related to Salmonids ( Rainbow Trout ) and one of the many phytogenic molecules that can be found in an emblematic Mediterranean tree ( Olive ), specifically I have chosen the Maslinic Acid, a molecule less known than hydroxytyrosol that could improve clearly the growth and hepatic-protein synthesis in trouts … there is already a lot of work to do with phytogenics and aqua nutrition !
