Immunomodulators in Animal Nutrition – NBG ImmunoShield

In the ongoing quest to optimize the health and performance of production animals, nutritional immunomodulators have emerged as essential components. These compounds not only promote cellular regeneration but also strengthen the immune response, making them particularly beneficial in stress situations, early developmental stages, and during infections such as PRRSv in pigs or immunological challenges in aquaculture species.
Various studies have shown that free nucleotide supplementation enhances lymphocyte proliferation and accelerates intestinal epithelial recovery, significantly contributing to animal immunocompetence. However, at Nutribiogenics, we have observed that, in the face of acute infections, nucleotide supplementation alone is not sufficient to achieve a proper balance between innate and adaptive immune responses.
