Nutrigenomic activity of plant derived compounds in health and disease: Results of a dietary intervention study in dog

In this article are compared different natural phytogenics in dog nutrition to reduce oxidative stress and treat chronic inflammatory diseases.

Please note that because grape anthocyanins show a not well known toxicity in dogs they must be obtained from Blueberry, and also see the wide range of actions of Turmeric extract ( curcumin ).

In this last case I just remember that if you are going to use this product in a practical way, it is necessary to use a vectorized or protected form due to the high sensitivity and low digestibility of curcumin.
