Immunomodulators in Animal Nutrition – NBG ImmunoShield

In the constant quest to optimize the health and performance of production animals, nutritional immunomodulators have emerged as essential components. These compounds not only promote cell regeneration, but also strengthen the immune response, being especially beneficial in stressful situations, in the early stages of development, and during infections such as PRRSv in pigs or immune challenges in aquaculture species.

Several studies have shown that supplementation with free nucleotides enhances lymphocyte proliferation and accelerates intestinal epithelial recovery, contributing significantly to the immunocompetence of animals. However, at Nutribiogenics we have found that, in the face of acute infections, supplementation with nucleotides alone is not sufficient to achieve an adequate balance between the innate and adaptive immune responses.

For this reason, we have developed NBG ImmunoShield, an innovative product designed to strengthen the immune system and improve the response to acute infections in both farm animals and pets.
